Louis P Savas, Among the Enlightened

Louie is now all-knowing, all-aware, and enlightened throughout.

Louie felt an acute depth of existence well beyond what our eyes are seeing and what our senses are superficially receiving. He read to gather knowledge of recent discoveries, inventions, theories, and behaviors, but from them, would unearth a truth to live by and to share. He spoke to anybody from all walks of life and was not bias in his human contact. He strove to learn from what he gathered and did not turn away anything. All was put to good use in his meat-grinder, literally and figuratively. Healer, scholar, and chef, his craft. He knew balance and proportion, -two parts of this, to one part of that. Husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and cherished friend, his foundation. Our backbone.

As we bear the weakness in humanity of taking time and love for granted, the anguish of loss is endless. It always feels unfinished. How to repay the gifts of aspirations, desires, and goals he inspired within us. He would say, by doing the same unto others.

In his epic life, Louie chose to help the hurt and teach the faith of selfless action. We are the fortunate to have received. If he has gifted his packet of sage to you, take comfort that every time it's put to good use, Louie is getting our thank you .

His earthly footprint reaches far and wide. The living pieces of Louie will carry the torch and he shall persevere for eternity.
